UAE Business Visa for Israelis

How to obtain a UAE business visa for Israelis? As of 2019, under the UAE’s Golden Visa system, foreigners can live, work, and study in the UAE.

Eligibility – UAE Business Visa for Israelis

Israeli professionals are eligible to apply for a business visa. In order to do so, you must be able to prove your business expertise and demonstrate the way you were a major shareholder or key in the leadership of a successful business. Additionally, you must be willing to live and work in the UAE and have a clear business plan you seek to implement in the UAE.

All those seeking to obtain a UAE business visa must pass a background check and medical assessment.

How to Get a Business Visa

In order to get a business visa, you need to first apply for a nomination. This application will be reviewed by a government incubator, either AREA 2071 in Dubai or HUB71 in Abu Dhabi, within 30 days of your submission. If the government incubator approves your application, this means that you qualify for the business visa, although this does not guarantee that you will receive one. Your qualification means that you can then go through a special committee that will review a visa application, which can take an additional 30 days. If you are approved, you will be granted a temporary visa that will give you six months to come to the UAE and explore business opportunities. This temporary visa can then be converted into a residency permit for the duration of your business endeavors, which can be renewed after five years.

What Is a Golden Visa?

The UAE Golden Visa system allows foreigners to live and work in the UAE for periods of five to ten years while maintaining complete ownership of their businesses. In the past, foreigners needed to have a national sponsor and they were not always permitted to own one hundred percent of their business. This change makes it easier for foreigners to engage in business in the UAE.

The Golden Visa service is available to investors, entrepreneurs, people with special talents or researchers, and promising students. More recently, this category has been expanded, including those with PhDs, doctors, engineers, and others.
