This article addresses how and where you can check if a will was registered in Israel at the offices of the Registrar of Inheritance Affairs.

Check If a Will Was Registered in Israel

Clarification regarding whether a will was registered at the offices of the Registrar of Inheritance Affairs can only be done after the death of the testator.  For the purpose of inquiry, you must provide the following by post or by fax to the appropriate district:

  • The death certificate in the name of the testator
  • An application specifying the applicant’s relationship to the deceased
