Advocate Nechama Ovadia is a member of the Israel Bar Association since 2015. Nechama has an LL.B from the Ono Academic College. During her studies she worked as a legal assistant at the Rogel-Levy-Nir law firm in Jerusalem, where she underwent her internship and was hired after passing the bar. Adv. Nechama Ovadia specializes in administrative law: both in the fields of immigration to Israel, including family reunification, visas, Aliyah to Israel, humanitarian applications, etc., and in municipal law, having represented several municipalities and local councils in contract negotiations and civil law claims. Nechama also has vast experience in dealing with insolvency law: representing creditors and debtors in bankruptcy cases, as well as foreclosure, repossession, and receivership. Advocate Ovadia volunteers at the Dolev Foundation for Medical Justice, which provides pro bono representation for patients vis-a-vis Israeli health services organizations. She is also active in promoting women’s rights in Israel.
